This One's Special.
No one ever tells you how long it can take to become yourself. To grow into your own skin, like you do a pair of shoes.
This one’s special because what I’m going to share marks the first time, in a long time, I’m believing in myself, in one of the scariest and most beautiful ways.
Years ago my best friend Jayson said, “You gotta believe in the the things you put faith in.” And recently I read, “It ain’t a gift if you don’t give it to nobody.” And, Qimmah Saafir has written, “God doesn’t put something in you for you to keep it to yourself.”
I have faith in these gifts I was giving. To alchemize emotion, create feeling, and through words dress wounds that might have been left open.
This one’s special because you are amongst the first to be receiving this invitation. The where and when will be coming to you next week in my Sunday’s Harvest, but the what, and who, is already here.
